Leeds Trinity's Fairest Fees Attract Record Numbers to Open Day
(firmenpresse) - LEEDS, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/20/11 -- is set to welcome a record number of visitors to an Open Day on Saturday, as prospective students affected by rising tuition fees search out the best value for their money.
With tuition fees in the UK rising to between GBP 6,000 and GBP 9,000 in 2012, Leeds Trinity's annual fee of GBP 8,000 for an undergraduate degree is already competitive.
Once a raft of financial support for students is factored in, the average cost of a degree from Leeds Trinity comes in at GBP 7,404(i), which is the lowest of any institution in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Professor Freda Bridge, Principal and Chief Executive, said, "It is part of our tradition to ensure that all students with potential can benefit from higher education regardless of their circumstances."

At the Open Day on Saturday, visitors will be able to find out all they need to know about studying for a , undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Leeds Trinity University College.
As well as getting a flavour of what individual courses have to offer, talks on finance, job prospects, student life and accommodation aim to reassure prospective students about affordability, budgeting, and a return on their investment in terms of employability after graduation.

is an independent higher education institution (HEI) with around 3000 students studying for foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Subjects offered include Business, Education, Theology and Religious Studies, English, History, Journalism, Media, Psychology and Sport. These scholarships are jointly funded by the government and Leeds Trinity and are being introduced to help people from low income backgrounds who want to go to University in 2012. The government has set national eligibility criteria based on household income and each University has designed its own scholarship scheme.
