Star Bulk Announces Date for the Release of Third Quarter and First Nine Months 2011 Results, Conference Call and Webcast

(the "Company" or "Star Bulk") (NASDAQ: SBLK), today announced it will release its results for the third quarter and nine months 2011 before the market opens in New York on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Star Bulk's management team will host a conference call to discuss the Company's financial results on the same day, Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
