CoSynth wins Innovationspreis as innovative startup
(PresseBox) - On October 10th the Oldenburg company CoSynth was awarded the ?Innovationspreis des Landkreises Göttingen? during a ceremony at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen in the presence of environment minister Hans-Heinrich Sander. This prize, issued by the economic development division of the Göttingen area, was established nine years ago. A blue-ribbon jury, among others Nobel prize winner Prof. Dr. Erwin Neher, had chosen the most innovative startups, products and services from over 100 applicants. District administrator Reinhard Schermann recognized the extraordinary qualifications of the twelve winners in his laudation. Novelty, innovation, commercial success and economic orientation were assessed.
CoSynth won a third prize in a competition with over 30 competitors. The company is awarded a money prize of 3000 Euro for further development of their innovation potential. "We are very proud that we could win against in a strong competition from various sectors and application domains", says CEO Christian Stehno about the surprise at the ceremony.
CoSynth develops and sells software for fast and efficient development of embedded systems. This software was initially developed at the research institute OFFIS, from which CoSynth spun off in 2010. CoSynth will present solutions for industrial image processing at the VISION trade fair in Stuttgart from November 8th-10th. At the fair CoSynth is located at the joint stand for young and innovative companies in Hall 6, Stand 6A55.2.
CoSynth is a startup in the area of embedded systems design. The company offers design services and tools for fast and efficient development of electronic solutions at system level. The SystemC and C++ based methods are particularly suitable for the design of mixed hardware/software systems and FPGA based solutions. Hardware accelerations for existing software applications are developed fast and precisely with CoSynth?s intersectoral methodology and an own synthesis tool.
