VuQo Premium Vodka Endorser Nonito Donaire Jr. Fights This Weekend in Madison Square Garden, New York
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/19/11 -- VuQo Premium Vodka (PINKSHEETS: VUQO) is eager to see the return of its official endorser, the #4 Pound-for-Pound boxer, Nonito Donaire Jr. The Filipino Flash, as fans know him, is heading to New York City's Madison Square Garden to defend his bantamweight title against WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez on Saturday, October 22. Donaire's last fight ended in spectacular fashion as he knocked out Fernando Montiel in the second round last February in Las Vegas, NV.
The fight will be broadcast on HBO's Boxing After Dark as well as on networks worldwide. With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Donaire has decided to fight in pink gloves to help raise awareness.
"Nonito is one of the most exciting fighters today and we are proud to support him not just in boxing, but in his efforts to support noble causes," said VuQo CEO Rich Cabael, who will be attending the fight. Donaire will be wearing the VuQo logo on his shorts, and will host a party featuring the Filipino vodka brand after the fight.
Tickets to this main event can be purchased at the Madison Square Garden box office, online at , and all Ticketmaster outlets. The official after fight party will be held at the Embassy nightclub in Midtown Manhattan.
