Dario Calia Joins Vello to Lead Network Virtualization Development
(firmenpresse) - MENLO PARK, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/18/11 -- Dario Calia has joined Vello Systems as Vice President of Product Development, to lead development of Vello's Network Virtualization platform technologies and products. Mr. Calia brings a broad knowledge and experience of networking technologies, including hardware and software development for a wide range of networking solutions.
Prior to joining Vello, Mr. Calia spent 17 years at Cisco, where he worked on routing and security products, focusing on software development, including development of Cisco's IOS XR operating system for routing and other carrier-class products. Most recently, he led development of Cisco security appliances for enterprise and carrier networks. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Calia worked at IBM's networking division.
