Media Advisory: Minister Ritz to Make Important Economic Announcement
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/17/11 -- On Tuesday, October 18, Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz along with Parliamentary Secretary David Anderson and Joyce Bateman, MP Winnipeg South Centre will make an important agriculture and economic announcement.

It will be possible to participate in the news conference via teleconference but you must register to access the call.
TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation will be provided to the news conference location. There will be a limited number of seats available on a bus. The bus will depart the National Press Building Office, 150 Wellington Street, Ottawa.
Departure from downtown Ottawa: 10:45 a.m.
Return: immediately following the news conference

The news conference will be preceded by a telephone briefing to be provided by officials from the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food. The briefing is for background information only, not for attribution, and only journalists may participate.

(i)Note -- Participants must register by no later than 9:55 a.m. (Ottawa time). The teleconference will commence once the legislation is introduced and will last a maximum of 30 minutes.
