A Week Long Celebration of All Things Related to Wine
(firmenpresse) - WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 10/14/11 -- Presented by DCeventjunkie & Pivot Point Communications, DC Wine Week comes to DC and surrounding neighborhoods October 15-22, 2011.
The week long celebration will be dedicated to enjoying wine, wine education and an opportunity to help support the area's growing local wineries, wine shops, wine bars, restaurants and merchants.
Expect hosted themed events throughout the week, paired menus and special offers from participating bars and restaurants.

DC Magazine joins DC Wine Week as the media sponsor for this year's inaugural celebration.
DC leads the nation almost every year in per capita sales and consumption of wine.
There are 27 wine trails and over 245 wineries in Maryland and Virginia that contribute to the wine culture of the city.
The Washington Wine Academy was voted one of the top five places to study wine by Food and Wine Magazine -- making DC a top location for wine education.
