Psoriasis Patients Are Not Revealing the True Impact of Their Debilitating Condition

A recent survey that polled both dermatologists and Canadians living with , reveals that patients do not regularly discuss or expose the emotional health and daily impact of their condition with their dermatologists. In fact, more than half (54 per cent) of moderate to severe psoriasis patients indicate that they never discuss their emotional health with their dermatologist.(1)
It's important for patients to work with their dermatologists to help them understand how psoriasis affects their quality of life and the more obvious physical aspects of the condition.
