Media Advisory: Their Excellencies to Meet With This Year's Champions of Children's Miracle Network
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/14/11 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will meet with the 2011 Champions of Children's Miracle Network, at a reception being held at Rideau Hall, on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 2:30 p.m.
The Governor General will deliver remarks, followed by Paul Lethbridge, Director, Corporate Development and Hospital Relations at Children's Miracle Network, and Lindsey Lourenco, one of the Champions (representing BC Children's Hospital).
The reception will welcome Canadian children and families representing Children's Miracle Network Champions program, which honours remarkable children who have triumphed despite severe medical challenges.
