Verdi to Co-Author Inkubus Prequel, Demons Never Die; Robert Englund Expected to Return as the Lead
(firmenpresse) - EAST GREENWICH, RI -- (Marketwire) -- 10/13/11 -- The Woodhaven Production Company proudly announces the highly anticipated red carpet premiere of a horror film starring Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy vs. Jason, Hatchet), William Forsythe (The Devil's Rejects, Halloween), Joey Fatone (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Cooler), Jonathan Silverman (Weekend At Bernie's, Death Becomes Her), Michelle Ray Smith (Salt), Tom Denucci (Loosies, Infected), Tom Paolino (Outside Providence, Loosies, Infected), Kevin DeCristofano (Infected), and Dyan Kane (Great Expectations). The Woodhaven Production Company, along with MassConcerts and Rock and Shock, will hold the premiere at the DCU Convention Center in Worcester, MA on Saturday, October 15 at 8pm during Rock and Shock.
which tells the story of a skeleton crew working the final shift of a closing police station, was penned by Carl Dupre of Hellraiser: Hellseeker and Hellraiser: Hellworld, and Glenn Ciano (Infected), the director of Inkubus. In the film, the night takes a gruesome turn when a demon named Inkubus (Robert Englund) calmly walks in with the severed head of a murdered girl. He allows himself to be restrained and begins to confess his litany of crimes, but it soon becomes clear he has only come to the station to spill more blood. The officers unlucky enough to be present are fated to participate in and witness Inkubus' crowning achievement of murder and mayhem.
October 15th will be a night of mayhem, horror, celebration and entertainment, featuring the members of the cast. The event promises to be nothing short of spectacular with an exclusive VIP guest list and after party, as well as a few gruesome surprises. and this event at Rock and Shock will bring a taste of Hollywood to the people of Massachusetts and New England and will set the stage for Inkubus and the Woodhaven Production Company as a force in the region.
Producer Chad A. Verdi stated, "I am planning the prequel, titled for a 2013 filming date. I am already working with my writing staff to ensure this next project is even more terrifying then the first!" Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy vs. Jason, Inkubus) is expected to return along with director Glenn Ciano for the next installment of the Inkubus franchise.
