Association of Management Consulting Firms to Hold Inaugural Awards Program for Consulting Industry
Executives, Journalists, and Academics Join Selection Committee
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/13/11 -- The Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) is pleased to announce its first annual awards program to celebrate excellence in management consulting. The 2012 AMCF Awards will spotlight the most innovative and effective projects over the past year.
"There are exceptionally talented consulting teams out there, and they are a tremendous force in helping clients find sustainable solutions to critical challenges," says John Furth, President and CEO of AMCF. "We want to honor these consultants and recognize the contribution they make across industries."
The AMCF Awards will select winners in 10 categories: Business Strategy, Change Management, Finance and Risk Management, Customer Engagement, Human Capital, Operational Performance, Corporate Social Responsibility/ Environmental, Transaction/Event-Driven, Technology Transformation, and Developing Markets. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, Nov. 15th, 2011. Winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner at the University Club in New York City on Thursday, March 1, 2012, which will pay tribute to the outstanding client and consulting project teams.

AMCF also announced an independent panel of judges who will assess the quality of each submission. This panel is made up of well-known, experienced executives from business and government, as well as respected journalists and academics. In addition to their expertise and knowledge of management consulting, judges were chosen based on their ability to remain unbiased and independent in their evaluations.
