Vuclip Unveils Top U.S. Mobile Video Trends for September
WWE Wrestles Its Way Into Top Ten Mobile Video Searches; Video of Bee Infestation Dominates Video Views
(firmenpresse) - MILPITAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/13/11 -- , the world's largest independent mobile video service, today unveiled its monthly , which captures trends for the month of September.
This month's study unearthed some shifts in top mobile video searches in the U.S. for September. Celebrities continue to hold most of the top spots, but WWE (formerly World Wrestling Entertainment) has made an entry onto the list at the number two position. Additionally, the top slot for number of video views is held by a news report of a house that had been infested by bees for more than ten years.
"While the particulars of mobile video searches and views shift month over month, we see consistent trends," said Nickhil Jakatdar, Co-founder and CEO of Vuclip. "Celebrities, not just in the U.S. but globally, dominate search. And the appetite for viewing content tends to be a mixture of both user-generated and professionally produced content. For a video service to be successful, you have to offer consumers both."

Vuclip's traffic data offers a unique perspective on global and regional trends in search and viewing habits, as well as the top devices in use.
