(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/12/11 -- The Honourable Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation, today visited a Canadian project to observe the results achieved. Here are selected photos of her second day in Haiti:
Minister Oda today visited in Leogane a CIDA-funded water and sanitation initiative supported by Oxfam Quebec. Minister Oda was able to get a first-hand appreciation of the importance of these structures for students at the Haiti Love Mission school.

The Honourable Beverley J. Oda, minister of International Cooperation, today visited in company of Mr. Conrad Sauve, Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Red Cross, a CIDA-funded semi-permanent houses and temporary shelters initiative. During her visit, Minister Oda witnessed the living conditions of women and girls residing in temporary shelters in Leogane.
