Quality Care IPA to Offer Valley Residents Independent Physician Provider Options
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 10/12/11 -- Quality Care IPA, a new, locally based independent physicians association, will offer its services in the Las Vegas area, beginning January 1st, 2012. Medicare recipients may enroll with an affiliated physician starting October 15th. It is the only association of physicians in southern Nevada that is comprised solely of doctors working independently in privately owned practices.
Tony Alamo, M.D., a Las Vegas physician and member of Quality Care IPA's board of directors said, "The physicians in our association are selected not by the corporate officers of a large health plan but by established quality doctors within the local community, whose primary commitment is to providing quality patient care."
Dr. Alamo emphasized that the tag line, "Quality Doctors. Quality Care." was the most obvious and natural expression of the organization's mission, not only to Quality Care IPA members, but to the Las Vegas community, at large. Independent wellness initiatives and collaborative efforts with public and private agencies will focus on preventative healthcare and disease management programs for IPA members, as well as the general public.
Quality Care IPA includes 315 primary care and specialty physicians, dedicated live customer support, and an extensive healthcare services network. The network offers convenient laboratory locations throughout the valley region, timely access to specialty care, and affiliation with all Las Vegas area hospitals.
The association's initial patient care service offering will be specifically for recipients of Medicare, who can switch to a Quality Care IPA doctor by contacting their health plans.
