SuVolta Wins EuroAsia 2011 IC Industry Award for Start-Up Company of the Year
Award Recognizes SuVolta's Contributions to CMOS Scaling and Power Reduction

The award was presented to SuVolta at SEMICON Europa 2011 in Dresden, Germany.
The prestigious award recognizes the significant contributions SuVolta is making to the semiconductor industry challenges of power consumption and scaling. SuVolta's Deeply Depleted Channel™ (DDC) CMOS technology simultaneously solves both problems -- providing a path to the next generation of semiconductor devices while cutting the power consumption of any transistor by 50 to 80 percent (or more).

SuVolta's DDC device technology and PowerShrink™ low-power planar CMOS platform, reduces IC power consumption by 50 percent or more while maintaining circuit performance. The novel DDC transistor structure enables scaling (reduction) of two of the most critical transistor parameters -- scaling of supply voltage, and scaling of transistor size to 20nm node and smaller -- yet it remains compatible with existing fabrication facilities and design technologies.
