CaroTrans Launches New Desktop Gadgets for Booking, Schedules, Rates, and Tracking
User Tools Deliver Fast and Easy Way to Access Customized Shipment Data

These innovative tools allow users to quickly and conveniently access critical LCL shipment data. CaroTrans now offers for bookings, sailing schedules, rates, tracking, and inland rates. A gadget is a mini application that resides on a computer desktop or personal home page.
Consistent monitoring of customer feedback enables CaroTrans to determine the critical tools customers need to make the processing of ocean freight cargo easier, faster and more convenient. CaroTrans will continue to evaluate every application to determine which should be made available as a gadget in the future.

Rate gadget: Is customized for each customer. Rates are pulled from the customer's current contract rates. A password and login is required for this gadget.
Easily accessed from CaroTrans' homepage.
Users may send the gadget link to their desktop as a shortcut for quick access.
Windows 7 and Vista operating system users are able to download the gadgets to their desktop.
Results from the Sailing Schedules and Rates gadgets can be viewed, emailed or printed.
Track and Trace: Users can search by container, booking, arrival notice, or their own reference numbers from the Bill of Lading.
