(TSX VENTURE: PTP)(FRANKFURT: YQN) (Petrichor or the Company) announces the grant, pursuant to its 10% Rolling Stock Option Plan, which was approved by shareholders on September 29, 2011 and accepted for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange on October 4, 2011, of options to certain eligible participants for the purchase an aggregate of 1,000,000 common shares, exercisable in whole or in part on or before October 10, 2016, at a price of $0.185 per share.
