(PresseBox) - Texim Europe provides the MPC-10W5 from Avalue Technology, a new Digital Signage Computer for small panel installation. The MPC-10W5 is powered by Intel® Atom? D525 dual-core 1.8GHz processor which brings both memory controllers and graphics cores on a CPU, facilitating a low-profile panel computer design.
This digital signage computer is equipped with 10.2-inch 17:10 wide panel, with 1024x600 resolution with a 5-wire compatible resistive touch screen. The LED backlight panel gives a luminance of 250 cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 500. In addition, the MPC-10W5 can be integrated with low refraction bounding panel to qualify sunlight readability.
On the front panel, a built LED indicator displays alarm signals for specific conditions. This area can also be used for mounting of a webcam module (optional). Behind the plastic bar on the bottom of the front panel there's space for mounting of USB dongle devices, such as WiFi, GPRS, and GPS.
Additional peripherals like PIR, CIR, light sensor or RFID R/W module can also be added without mechanical modification. Besides, the MPC-10W5 has a minimal screen frame bezel, the full aluminium housing design weighs only 1.22 kg; the maximum thickness is 44.4 mm. Using VESA standard 75x75 hook wall accessories, the MPC-10W5 can be easily mounted.
