TicketNetwork Advisory -- Taylor Swift, TSO Lead September Concert Ticket Sales
(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 10/07/11 -- Country artist and holiday favorite led ticket sales for September, according to data from the TicketNetwork Exchange*. Collectively the two acts sold more than 8% of all tickets. The other top ten artists and tours were the Honda Civic Tour with Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance, Jeff Dunham, Chris Brown, Journey, Sting, Bob Seger, Foo Fighters, and Incubus. The top ten acts sold more than 25% of all tickets on the Exchange in September.
Among the top ten, leaders Swift and TSO had average ticket prices of $150 and $113 respectively in September. They weren't the acts demanding the highest average price, however. That distinction went to 's Back to Bass Tour, at $201. In stark contrast, the Honda Civic Tour had the lowest average ticket price, at $69. The average ticket price for the entire top ten was $129.
Of the top ten, The Honda Civic Tour ends first, on October 8 with ' tour ending shortly after on October 15. Following these dates, Journey fans will have until October 21 to see the band's . The rest of the top ten have concert series running throughout the fall season.
