Lakeway (TX) Police Department Orders TASER X2 ECDs
Agency Also to Deploy TASER AXON On-Officer Camera
(firmenpresse) - SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 10/06/11 -- (NASDAQ: TASR), a global provider of safety technologies that protect life, prevent conflict, and resolve disputes, today announced that it received an order from the in Texas for the new electronic control devices (ECDs) and for the revolutionary evidence capture and management system including TASER on-officer cameras and service.
The order received provided the Lakeway Police Department with 26 ECDs with extended warranties, 260 and various related accessories. The X2 is the latest ECD model from TASER with a dual-shot semi-automatic capability. The order also provided an initial order for TASER on-officer cameras and service.
This order shipped in the third quarter.
