H&H Automotive Offers Free Brake Service for Food Donations
(firmenpresse) - BURNSVILLE, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- As our nation's economy has endured a disheartening recession for the last few years, no group of people has gone unaffected. However, some people are suffering more than others and will undoubtedly have difficulty feeding their families, especially as the holiday season approaches.
Area food shelves are working to provide for those who are lacking necessary resources and need help replenishing their shelves with food. As a way of giving back to the community, H&H Automotive is working with a local organization, 360 Communities, and offering a Free Break Promotion for the third consecutive year.
During the month of October, every bag of groceries brought to H&H Automotive's Burnsville or Lakeville location will award the customer a complete brake system inspection and report, premium brake pads or shoes, and labor -- free of charge. H&H Automotive is donating these services at a value of over $150 per customer and giving each bag of groceries to two food shelves in Burnsville and Lakeville, Minn., both run by 360 Communities.
"My technicians weren't too crazy about the idea of not getting anything for their work," said Mike Hammond, owner of H&H Automotive. "But I think they thought about it and realized what it was going for -- helping people -- and they jumped on board."
