Magazine Unveils 30th Annual List of America's Fastest-Growing Companies
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- Denihan Hospitality Group has been recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America in 2011, placing the full-service hotel management and development company on its coveted Inc. 500|5000 list for the third year in a row. Denihan was one of only four hospitality owner/operators to be included on the 2011 list and was top among companies in the full-service, upper upscale hotel sector.
Denihan Hospitality Group has been owned and operated since 1962 by members of the Denihan family, who, in the last 50 years, have built the company from one hotel -- the 129-suite Affinia Gardens -- to a collection of highly-rated, highly profitable hotels in New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Miami. The 2011 Inc. 500 list was unveiled in the September issue of Inc. magazine, and takes a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy -- America's independent-minded entrepreneurs. The list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2007 to 2010. Additionally, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- to be considered for the list. Past members of the Inc. 500 list include Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit and American Apparel.
