(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- On Wednesday, October 5, the Honourable Peter Van Loan, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, on behalf of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, will honour the national recipients of the 2010-11 Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence and Excellence in Early Childhood Education at a ceremony in Ottawa.
The ceremony will also be attended by representatives from the RBC Foundation and Research In Motion Limited, corporate partners of these awards; major education stakeholders; and Canadian astronaut Dr. Robert Thirsk, who will be presenting a new space educator award.
