With this release, partners and customers using Eclipse can more easily develop and debug Oracle ADF applications without having to switch Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse is a free set of Eclipse-based plug-ins that enables developers to build Java EE, Java Web, Web Service, Spring and Oracle ADF applications for the platform.
The latest release of Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse is the first to support Oracle ADF Task Flow development, providing complete support for ADF Web applications.
The new ADF Debugger also makes it easier for developers to troubleshoot their applications at runtime.
With advanced refactoring capabilities developers can make one change and have the IDE update all dependencies for that change, making application development less error prone, especially when maintaining, or debugging existing applications.
In addition, Oracle Coherence customers now have a visual editor for the Oracle Coherence Cache Configuration, reducing the learning curve for first time users, as well as increasing productivity for expert users.
New features in the latest version of Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse 11g include:

helps separate user interface (UI) navigation code from business logic, for easier debugging and to improve maintainability. New ADF Task Flow wizards, an ADF Task Editor, and drag and drop support for page creation with ADF Task Flows also simplify development with the ADF Controller.
: allows developers to export an ADF application as a library for easy reuse in other ADF applications. ADF Libraries created in Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse can also be reused within Oracle JDeveloper.
: enhances the Eclipse debugger for advanced ADF debugging. Users can now debug ADF pages, Java classes, Task Flow Definitions, as well as general ADF Lifecycle events. With new variable and data views, ADF application logic is easier to understand at runtime. Finally, the ADF Expression Builder allows users to dynamically construct and run Expression Language statements.
provides new code generation templates for basic Create, Read, Update, and Delete capabilities using standard Java EE technologies, including JPA, EJB, and Managed Beans.
enhances Eclipse core features through new refactoring tools when updating existing code for Java Server Pages, Java Standard Tag Library, Java Server Faces, EJB and JPA. ADF Web application refactoring also supports ADF Faces, Managed Beans, task flow definitions, configuration files like faces-config, and Java resource bundles.
