Prince Agri Products, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Animate(R) From Granco Minerals, Inc.
(firmenpresse) - RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 10/03/11 -- Prince Agri Products, Inc. (Prince), a subsidiary of Phibro Animal Health Corporation, has acquired the intellectual property, including patents and trademarks, as well as manufacturing assets for Animate® from Granco Minerals, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
"Animate is the premier technology available on the market for DCAD nutrition for dairy cows," said Dean Warras, President of Prince Agri Products. "It provides for a smooth transition period for the dry cow, while mitigating several metabolic disorders associated with calving and the onset of milk, preparing the cow for the most productive and healthy calving and lactation possible. The combination of the lowest inclusion rate, best palatability, best consistency and lowest average cost per cow of any formulated, commercial product on the market is the ultimate combination for a product in this space," continued Warras.
