INFORUM Presents San Francisco's Race for Mayor 2011

INFORUM and the Summer of Smart are teaming up to produce the electoral event in the race for the city's mayor. In this two-hour program, candidates will get up on one stage to discuss the topics San Franciscans are most concerned about. This is the only SF debate where all 16 official candidates will be given a fair share of one stage.
The debate will be fun, interactive (the audience will even get to play bingo with the candidates' buzz words) and will give the audience a chance to hear the opinions of all the official candidates for San Francisco mayor. The format of the fast-paced debate is designed to maximize content and keep the audience engaged. Consisting of six total rounds, this game-show-style debate features a "lightning round," a round of "pairs" where two candidates will face-off on a specific issue, candidates' "15 second idea to change San Francisco" and MORE!
After the 90 minute debate, Summer of Smart's four winners will present their creative ideas on how to address some of San Francisco's most pressing issues.
Beth Spotswood and Melissa Griffin, two of San Francisco's hottest young politicos and co-hostesses of Necessary Conversations, a witty and hilarious political blog, will moderate this event.
