Polkinghorne Joins U.S. RE as SVP
(firmenpresse) - PEARL RIVER, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/03/11 -- Scott Polkinghorne, a reinsurance executive with 30 years' experience in global markets, has joined U.S. RE Corporation as Senior Vice President, Tal Piccione, Chairman/CEO, announced.
"We're especially pleased to welcome Scott Polkinghorne. He brings an extraordinary range of experience in all sectors of reinsurance along with a successful track record in the domestic U.S. and international markets including London, Australia, and New York," Piccione said.
Polkinghorne comes to U.S. RE from Lockton Re where he was responsible for establishment of the Company's U.S. reinsurance platform. His earlier U.S. experience included serving as Executive Vice President/ Managing Director of JLT Re's North American property practice; Team Leader / Senior Vice President, Benfield Fac Solutions; and Executive Vice President, John C. Lloyd Reinsurance Brokers where he served also as Director of the International Division responsible for Australia and London Manager responsible for creating the Company's London office. Earlier, in Australia he held senior management assignments with Aon Re-Australia and Alexander Stenhouse.
