Curriculum and Instruction Concentration Offerings Now Include Digital Learning and Teaching and Implementing K-6 Common Core Mathematics Standards
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 09/30/11 -- announces the availability of two new concentrations for its M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction program: Digital Learning and Teaching and Implementing K-6 Common Core Mathematics Standards. The graduate degree programs are available beginning Oct. 17, 2011.
The examines the impact of technology on learning and how today's students navigate a media-rich world. Classroom teachers explore research-based strategies for computer- and web-based learning, instructional material using digital content, and professional development in light of emerging technologies.
The investigates curriculum that relates abstract mathematical principles to real-world applications, making math more meaningful for students. Educators explore research-based instructional and assessment strategies aligned to the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics to improve student performance.
