The Dr. Luke-produced song, set to impact Urban and Rhythmic radio on November 15th, is the title track from the Atlanta rapper's upcoming sophomore album of the same name. "STRANGE CLOUDS" is the follow-up to B.o.B's critically-acclaimed, RIAA-certified Gold debut album, "B.o.B PRESENTS: THE ADVENTURES OF BOBBY RAY," which earned an outstanding five Grammy nominations including "Best Rap Album." The album also spawned three multiplatinum singles, "Nothin' On You (feat. Bruno Mars)," "Magic (feat. Rivers Cuomo)," and "Airplanes (feat. Hayley Williams of Paramore)" the latter being certified 4X Platinum by the RIAA.
As if all this weren't enough, this past Monday saw B.o.B being called on by President Obama to headline his re-election fundraiser at Los Angeles' famed House of Blues, making this the second time the rapper has performed for the President, after performing at the GEN44 Summit last September at the White House. What's more, B.o.B has also been nominated for "Best Mixtape" at this year's BET Hip Hop Awards for his mixtape "NO GENRE." In addition to all this, the rapper, who BET.com named "One To Watch" in 2010, was also recently named the face of AKOO's Fall 2011 campaign, the clothing line founded by rap sensation T.I.
All this excitement comes after an incredible year, which saw the superstar taking the stage at the 2011 Grammy Awards alongside labelmates, and fellow collaborators, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae for a medley performance that was undeniably one of the greatest moments of the night. In addition to joining both Lupe Fiasco's "Steppin' Laser Tour" and Rihanna's North American "LOUD Tour," B.o.B also embarked on his first headlining, international "Shootin' For Stars World Tour."
"B.o.B PRESENTS: THE ADVENTURES OF BOBBY RAY" debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and was heralded by the smash debut single "Nothin' On You (feat. Bruno Mars)," which catapulted to the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. B.o.B also celebrated the album's release with a number of high-profiled TV appearances including The Ellen Degeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Wendy Williams Show, Saturday Night Live and The Mo'Nique Show, while gracing the covers of national publications including Complex and VIBE.
