University of Calgary to release new strategic direction
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/26/11 -- The University of Calgary will release its new strategic direction at a special celebratory event for the entire campus community on Wednesday, September 28.
Students, faculty and staff have been invited to hear President Elizabeth Cannon share the results of Project Next, a months-long strategy planning process that included the most extensive consultation ever undertaken on campus. The result is a collective strategic direction for the next five years, leading to the university's 50th anniversary in 2016.
Cannon will be joined by student leaders, Chancellor Jim Dinning and other university representatives.
Media are invited to attend this special event and learn about the university's new strategy.
