New Look's Maternity Range Scoops Prestigious Awards Thanks to Prima Baby Magazine
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 09/23/11 -- In recent high street awards news, retailer, New Look has scooped the prestigious Platinum Readers Award at Prima Baby Magazine, for its range.
This magazine, which targets all baby-related and maternity topics, held their annual awards on the 8th September, with results born of a survey that asked an approximate 1,000 readers to choose their favourite high street retailers.
Readers were asked to choose their favourite retailers from a prescribed list. However, if not listed by the magazine, the readers were then invited to add their preferred retailer.
New Look's maternity clothes, which encapsulate seasonal and designer looks, refining them for both the high street and maternity clothes market, found platinum success in the survey, with their range of clothing that the pregnant woman in high street, high fashion trends. Included in their catalogue of maternity clothing are military-inspired coats, wrap and maxi dresses, and skinny jeans. The range also extends to glamorous maternity swimsuits.
This voting system enabled the awards to have complete authenticity in terms of product knowledge. The complete subjectivity of reader votes, which accounted for the platinum award, meant that New Look's win is informed from the first-hand experience of New Look's customers, rather than the approval of a more objective judging panel. In specific, the votes are collected from expectant mothers, who have benefited from the maternity fashion range at the high street retailers.
The full list of awards will be featured in the November issue of Prima Baby magazine, which will be showcased at The Baby Show at Earls Court, where the magazine is currently a sponsor.
