iclicker2's Enhanced Features Meet Changing Needs of University
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 09/22/11 -- University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has selected iclicker2 as its centrally supported classroom response system. Starting in fall 2011, Illinois will transition to the iclicker2 remote which offers full alphanumeric functionality and an LCD screen.
"iclicker is already in heavy use by faculty and students on the Urbana campus," said Jamie Nelson, lead coordinator of Classroom Support and Training with CITES Academic Technology Services at the University of Illinois. "The campus should expect a smooth transition to iclicker2 because, in addition to its simplicity of use, the software and base units are backwards compatible with the original iclicker devices."

"Our aim was to maintain what already had been successful with iclicker -- a simple, easy-to-use and reliable system -- while making the remote functionality more flexible and powerful for instructors in disciplines that use numeric entry."
