ID: 1039679

(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 09/21/11 -- Office buildings in the Las Vegas area and northern California will be among more than 40 properties selling Wednesday, Oct. 12, in an FDIC auction of foreclosed real estate. Other properties will include commercial land, residential land and single-family lots.

"This will include a wide variety of commercial properties in metro Las Vegas, including the Montecito Town Center office building on Grand Montecito Parkway, plus five commercial pads," said John Dixon, president of , which will conduct the auctions.

"Other properties will be concentrated in the San Francisco/Sacramento area, with former bank branches in Concord, Elk Grove and Hayward," said Dixon.

"We also have a number of properties in Southern California, especially in Riverside County, where the focus is more on commercial and residential land," said Dixon.

The auction will begin at 4 p.m. on Oct. 12 at Spring Hill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center and will be the second of two back-to-back auctions for the FDIC. On Oct. 11, John Dixon Associates will sell approximately 40 Arizona properties at the Hilton Suites, 10 East Thomas Road, Phoenix.

Dixon said the auction will enable the FDIC to put the properties back in the private sector, where they can provide opportunities for growth and expansion.

"There are lots of businesses in Arizona, Nevada and California that could expand by obtaining the right properties at a good price. This auction will allow them to do just that," said Dixon.
