UCDMO Validates Cubic's Cross-Domain Transfer Solution for Use Across Intel Community and DoD
Allows Secure Information-Sharing for Defense and Homeland Security Missions
(firmenpresse) - HERNDON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/21/11 -- A high-speed cross-domain transfer solution developed by Cubic Cyber Solutions, a defense systems unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), has been validated for use by U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence community organizations. Cubic's solution, , offers secure real-time transfer of classified data from Unclassified to Top Secret Special Compartmented Information (TSSCI) levels. The solution includes a robust one-way print capability.
Cubic received word in September that XDS Guard Version 1.0 had been added to the UCDMO Baseline published by the Unified Cross Domain Management Office. The UCDMO provides centralized coordination of cross-domain initiatives for the entire U.S. defense/intelligence community.

Traditional operating environments require purchasing and installing numerous printers for each network at each office location -- straining already lean federal IT budgets. With XDS Guard Version 1.0, the number of printers can be drastically decreased and the need for print servers is reduced.
Already in use at numerous locations, XDS Guard Version 1.0 is the first in a family of Cubic cross-domain products to receive validation from UCDMO. Other solutions now in development will operate at higher transfer speeds. The entire line of Cubic's cross-domain products are now available on GSA Schedule contract number GS-02F-0060S, making them readily accessible to government purchasing agents.
