Emergisoft Joins Cruise Lines International Association as an Executive Partner
(firmenpresse) - DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 09/20/11 -- Emergisoft is pleased to announce that they have joined the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) Executive Partner program. The program is endorsed by CLIA's 26 member cruise lines and is the world's largest cruise association. The Executive Partner program fosters a unique alliance between the cruise lines and strategic industry suppliers to create a forum for information exchange and an opportunity to work together to address industry issues and generate new business.
CLIA is dedicated to the promotion and growth of the cruise industry. CLIA is composed of 26 of the major cruise lines serving North America and is an organization that operates pursuant to an agreement filed with the Federal Maritime Commission under the Shipping Act of 1984 and serves as a non-governmental consultative organization to the International Maritime Organization, an agency of the United Nations.
By joining CLIA as an Executive Partner, Emergisoft will become part of a highly visible network of quality providers given exclusive access to the top decision-makers in the cruise industry.
Emergisoft Maritime streamlines the interaction between medical staff, crew, and guests, by utilizing a portable and paperless Electronic Medical Record. By automating triage, tracking, nurse and physician documentation, and reporting, Emergisoft Maritime provides Natural Language Output, a legible medical record, and eliminates time consuming manual reporting processes. Emergisoft Maritime also provides real-time reporting of key patient metrics in order to deliver more effective outbreak management and preventative care onboard the ships.
This revolutionary solution addresses the unique challenges of the cruise ship healthcare environment: part emergency care, part occupational medicine, and part primary care center. With Emergisoft Maritime, the crew and guests onboard cruise ships will have accessible electronic health records across the fleet. Cruise passengers can rest easy knowing that they benefit from secure and confidential electronic health records when traveling onboard.
"Emergisoft is proud to be an Executive Partner of CLIA. The benefits gained from being a part of the association are invaluable," said Charlie Kesinger, COO of Emergisoft. "We look forward to growing our relationship with CLIA and the member cruise lines and strengthening our market position in the cruise industry."
Emergisoft will be attending the CLIA Leadership Forum in November 2011, which is exclusively for the CLIA member cruise lines and the Executive Partners.
