HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung sells La Cour office building in Düsseldorf
Sale finalized prior to construction of new VivaKi site
(firmenpresse) - HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung is set today to lay the foundation stone for La Cour, the first office building in Düsseldorf’s new Le Quartier Central district. Only a few days prior, the above-ground gross floor space totaling some 14,900 square meters and almost 215 underground garage spaces of the property had been bought by a major insurance company. Details of the purchase price have not been disclosed.
La Cour is erected on a former aurelis site measuring nearly 3,400 square meters on what will soon be Toulouser Allee. Scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012, the six-story office building will have an additional penthouse level with terrace overlooking the newly landscaped Berty Albrecht Park. La Cour is built on the principles of sustainability to meet the requirements of a silver certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council. The rooms, for instance, will be heated and cooled via energy-efficient ceilings. Some 12,100 square meters, or nearly 92 percent of the total rentable floor space of some 13,200 square meters, had already been leased to VivaKi, a company in the Publicis Group, even before construction commenced.
