Decision Management Solutions Launches Survey to Study the Emerging Intersection of Predictive Analytics and Cloud Technologies
(firmenpresse) - PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/20/11 -- Decision Management Solutions today launched an online survey for business, IT and analytic professionals to voice their opinion about the emerging intersection of predictive analytics and cloud technologies. The survey is part of a multi-stage research study on Predictive Analytics in the Cloud conducted by James Taylor, CEO of Decision Management Solutions, in conjunction with SmartData Collective, a prominent online community for data professionals. The survey can be accessed using this link:
"Predictive analytics are increasingly a key component of an organization's efforts to improve business performance, while cloud technologies are fast becoming an important option for purchasing and deploying enterprise software," said Mr. Taylor. "But what's happening at the intersection of these two technologies? Might predictive analytics, delivered via the cloud, create new types of value for enterprises? What now might be possible? What are the critical risks and issues involved?"
The survey will gather perspectives and information from organizations looking to adopt pre-packaged predictive analytic solutions, as well as those looking to improve analytic model development and deployment. The survey has five sections, each with a set of questions on a particular topic -- predictive analytics, cloud, approaches to predictive analytics in the cloud, attitudes towards predictive analytics in the cloud and demographics. It is anonymous and both participants and non-participants can register for the survey results and other study deliverables.
