Broken Arrow-Area Grazing Land to Be Auctioned in Oklahoma
(firmenpresse) - TULSA, OK -- (Marketwire) -- 09/19/11 -- Approximately 640 acres of pasture/ranch land near Broken Arrow, in Wagoner County, Okla., will be auctioned Oct. 20 as Oklahoma firm National Residential Auctioneers teams with agriculture specialist .
The land, which consists primarily of pasture/ranch land with considerable frontage, will sell in 14 tracts ranging in size from approximately six acres to 160 acres, according to Gene Klingaman, vice president of Schrader.
"The location -- approximately 10 miles from Broken Arrow -- makes this land a natural for the person who wants quality ranch land while having access to nearby shopping, business and recreational opportunities," said Klingaman.
The land has good water supplies and includes some recreational land as well as potential building sites. It has a high bluff area to the west that provides scenic views overlooking the entire property. "The wooded areas interspersed with the pasture provide a favorable habitat for deer that has resulted in excellent hunting," said Klingaman. "Most of the pasture is a 50-50 combination of Bermuda and Fescue, extending the grazing year and providing an excellent carrying capacity for livestock."
All but one of the 14 tracts are under 100 acres, and most are less than 50 acres. "By selling in relatively small tracts, we enable more people to participate. That way, bidders can bid on the combinations of tracts that best suit their needs," said Klingaman. "The land could sell as an entirety to a single bidder or to a number of bidders," he said.
