The latest of several healthcare-focused events hosted by Pegasystems, the Summit provides a collaborative forum for healthcare organizations, including physician groups, hospitals, payers, pharmacy benefit managers and life sciences organizations. Innovation, better transparency and increased collaboration will be explored in the sessions and panels, all of which feature industry thought leaders.
The keynote speaker is Dr. David Blumenthal, Chairman of the Commonwealth Fund Commission on a High Performance Health System, and former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology for President Obama. Dr. Blumenthal will speak about the HITECH Act and the Nation's performance to date in deploying Electronic Medical Records and demonstrating "meaningful use."
