MEDIA BROADCAST and TEVEO present?connected TV? services at the IBC in Amsterdam
(PresseBox) - On the occasion of the IBC, the European meeting place for decision-makers from the European Media and Entertainment sector in Amsterdam, Media Broadcast and TEVEO are presenting new services for "connected TVs" . From 9 to 13 September 2011, both companies will be demonstrating in a showcase, how broadcasters and content providers can use the options provided by HbbTV to make available and invoice their internet-based media content via a central, device-independent TV portal. The TV portal can be received by all HbbTV compliant CE devices. Viewers are able to access it by activating a satellite or DVB-T barker channel which is provided by Media Broadcast. TV-ID, a service developed by TEVEO, is integrated as the central identification and payment service.
The showcase will be displayed at the Media Broadcast booth 1.B79. (http://www.ibc.org) This is where interested guests can watch a live demonstration of the TV portal.

As this showcase demonstrates, content providers that would like to make use of TV-ID can, in future, extend their range to all HbbTV compliant CE-devices."
