Glinde, 8 September 2011 – Europe’s market leader for fashionable golf wear is investing in trend-setting LED lighting developed by the leading company for innovative lighting solutions, Philips. GOLFINO is the first fashion designer to use the StyliD LED spot, which won the prestigious iF product design award. With this innovative lighting concept, GOLFINO is further enhancing its elegant and sporty store design while simultaneously setting new standards for optimal colour rendering, resource awareness and sustainability in the fashion retail business.
(firmenpresse) - Due to its special location in the Kö-Galerie, the GOLFINO Store in Düsseldorf has been fitted with highly modern LED lighting. For this purpose, the StyliD LED spot was chosen as the first genuinely variable LED lighting solution for the retail business. Awarded with the gold iF product design award, this product combines optimal lighting qualities with highly-effective heat management, endurance and energy efficiency. It makes up to 80% energy savings compared to conventional halogen lamps, maintenance work is kept to a minimum thanks to its long service life and the low build-up of heat allows for cost reductions for the air conditioning.
The fact that no ultraviolet is used enables GOLFINO’s high-quality golf wear to be displayed in the best possible light. The materials do not fade, while the lifelike reproduction of the colours and the clear concentration of light are ideal for product presentations. The warm, white light invites shoppers to relax and reflect, and the elegant design of the spot blends in perfectly with the lifestyle atmosphere of GOLFINO’s new elegant and sporty store concept.
