James City County Picks Gasboy(R) for Fleet Fueling Sites
Seamless Integration Reduces Transition Costs and Time
(firmenpresse) - GREENSBORO, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 09/06/11 -- , Virginia will install six fleet management systems at their refueling sites for fire trucks, police vehicles, heavy equipment and mowers. The five existing sites are upgrading from Gasboy Series 1000 systems to the new Islander PLUS. Administrators have also chosen the Islander PLUS system, along with two Gasboy fuel dispensers, for one newly constructed refueling site.
The Islander PLUS cardlock system limits access to fuel to authorized drivers and vehicles and is compatible with multiple access technologies, including contactless systems. It is an advanced web-based site fuel controller and a sophisticated island fleet card reader, designed for the unique requirements of unattended fueling. The Islander PLUS interfaces seamlessly with Fleet Head Office management software and other systems to proactively manage vehicle maintenance based on vehicle data.
