Arctic Glacier Annual Meeting Scheduled For October 17
(firmenpresse) - WINNIPEG, MANITOBA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/02/11 -- Arctic Glacier Income Fund (TSX: AG.UN) (the "Fund") announced today it will be holding its 2011 annual meeting of unitholders in Winnipeg on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 9 am Central Time. An information circular is expected to be mailed to unitholders on or about September 21, 2011 in connection with the meeting.
In June, Arctic Glacier applied to the TSX for an extension to hold its annual meeting not later than September 30, 2011 to provide additional time for the Fund to pursue strategic alternatives and the TSX granted that extension. In August, Arctic Glacier applied for a further extension for the same reasons, which the TSX granted up to and including October 17, 2011. Arctic Glacier is continuing to pursue strategic alternatives to enhance unitholder value but there is no certainty that an agreement will be reached for such a transaction.
