Performance Test Begins at Washington University, MO

(PINKSHEETS: GDGI) today announced today that Washington University in St Louis, MO has granted approval to conduct a performance test of the Cool-n-Save evaporative pre-cool system on the university campus.
The performance test will begin immediately on a building with a 345-ton air conditioning system and will last two to three weeks. A local engineering firm and on-campus facility engineers will monitor the test.
"We expect that the test will follow other results we have seen in this area," says Darius Jakubik, the company's senior vice president. Jakubik notes that a year ago, the company installed a Cool-n-Save system for a commercial client in St. Louis, MO.
"Our client reports approximately 24% total energy reduction, plus they received a substantial rebate from Ameren UE, the local energy provider," says Jakubik. "We anticipate that Cool-n-Save will continue to show similar energy-saving results as it has in other parts of the country."
Cool-n-Save uses evaporative pre-cooling technology to bring about a dramatic reduction of energy consumed by commercial and residential air conditioning systems. The patented system also features turn-key water treatment and mechanical filtration technology. Five years of field tests have shown that Cool-n-Save evaporative pre-cooling may produce energy cost savings as high as 30%.
The company has been developing pre-cool misting technology since 2005. Greenway recently won the Harvey Mudd College/TechAmerica High-Tech Innovation Award for Green Engineering.
