This version represents a new threshold in both features and performance, building upon the breakthroughs in seismic interpretation capabilities for which Insight Earth is known.
In addition to refining and fine-tuning many aspects of the Insight Earth platform, Insight Earth 1.6 delivers a wide range of new features and capabilities, including:

Multi-dimensional glyphs and attribute property calculator for interpretation and mapping

With Insight Earth 1.6, interpretation workflows are in fact greatly accelerated, while improving quality and accuracy. These improvements provide interpretation enhancements in the context of a fully 3D seismic interpretation platform, the only such platform available in the industry.
Insight Earth 1.6 delivers an integrated, interactive user interface redesigned for greater ease of use and stability for both data import and export. Import features are now even more compatible with multiple platforms (both files and formats), including Landmark, Paradigm, Petrel and SMT.
Insight Earth 1.6 includes new capabilities that allow greater user control, data visualization and flexibility.
3D paint functionality has been implemented to increase precision; stopping surfaces now deliver a controlled autoflood for multi-z complexities and salt body flooding can now be completed quickly and efficiently without gaps.
Fault enhance has been reconfigured to improve implementation and optimization workflow functions, resulting in much cleaner fault extractions. The active zone search function increases the opportunity for resultant fault linearity using dip and azimuth information from areas of higher fault probability.
