(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/31/11 -- Petra Petroleum Inc. (TSX VENTURE: PTL) (the "Corporation"). In connection with the recent appointment of John Downes as the new Chief Financial Officer, he has been granted an option to purchase up to a total of 100,000 common shares of the Corporation at the exercise price of $0.43 each for a period of five years from the date of grant.
