Bringing Einstein's Legacy to the 21st Century: International Avatar Design Competition
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/31/11 -- The Institute For Medical Research Israel-Canada (IMRIC) wants your help in bringing Albert Einstein to the 21st century! IMRIC is looking for fun, creative and innovative avatar designs that will represent one of the greatest minds in history, and they're awarding the winner $1500.00! Second place gets $750.00 and third place $250.00 (CAD). If it were somehow possible to bring Einstein back in avatar form what would he look like? Would he be serious, or playful? Calm or excited? This unique contest allows participants to not only design Einstein's likeness in 3D form, but also push their creative abilities to the limits by giving them the freedom to interpret his persona and legacy through an interactive medium.
By putting your creativity and talents to work you will also help by contributing to science. The winning entry will represent Einstein in an online fundraising campaign for IMIRC via a Virtual Marathon on November 20, 2011 that will engage audiences in a global campaign to raise funds for medical research. The funds raised will help IMRIC bring together Israel's and Canada's most brilliant scientific minds to find solutions to the world's most serious medical problems.
The contest is open to all who are interested, passionate and inspired. Entries must be original and submitted before September 9, 2011. The winner and runners-up will be selected by a panel of judges, and prizes will be awarded accordingly. For a complete list of rules and regulations visit .
