Featuring Moh 9 hardness, which is second only to diamond, Meller Custom Sapphire Optics are available with surface finishes to 20-5 scratch-dig, flatness to ¼ wave, parallelism from 20 to 2 arc/secs., and various A/R coatings, depending upon configuration. Typical include medical devices and instruments, and military and aerospace equipment.
