S3 Group Announces First Sale of StormTest(TM) Decision Line to Automate Set-Top Box Testing in Screening and Repair
System Goes Live in Unipart Technology Logistics (UTL) UK Repair Facility

Designed for automated test and device configuration in screening and repair facilities, the system is now live in -- part of the Unipart Group and a leading integrated technology logistics, repair and supply chain services provider. UTL handles the repair and recycling of all BB's Set-Top Boxes (STBs), representing over 10 million customers in the UK. The StormTest family of products from S3 Group drives increased quality and reduced operational costs in the lifecycle management of TV devices including STBs and digital TV devices, as well as cable modems and MTAs. StormTest Decision Line is an additional product in the family and builds on the success of deployed StormTest products already in the marketplace.
StormTest Decision Line analyses STBs and reports on any faults found. With this product twice as many STBs can be handled per operator, extending testing duration for each device by a factor of four and significantly increasing audio and video output quality analysis.
