In a video address released today, congratulates the (CYBF) for 15 years of cultivating and investing in young entrepreneurs across Canada. This important anniversary for CYBF lands in 2011, which has been declared as the by the Government of Canada and several provincial governments.
CYBF is a leading member of The Prince's (YBI), a global network of entrepreneurially-minded organizations, founded by HRH Prince Charles in 2000. Since its inception in 1996, CYBF has invested in more than 4,500 young entrepreneurs and created nearly 18,000 jobs. The national charity provides pre- and post-launch coaching, financing, resources and the guidance of experienced mentors to help young entrepreneurs build successful and sustainable businesses. This comprehensive model of support has set the precedent for similar organizations around the world.
"CYBF has mentored entrepreneurial organizations in various countries including the United States of America, Mexico, Brazil and China," explains HRH The Prince of Wales in the video. "This international engagement is vital if we are to tackle the economic downturn and rising rates of youth unemployment."
